Rihanna: Redemption song (Tributo a Haití) en directo en el show de Oprah
Ya os comentamos hace unos días la iniciativa de George Clooney para recaudar fondos para Haití, y hoy es Rihanna la que quiere colaborar en esta causa, donando los beneficios que recaude la canción Redemption Song, una versión de Bob Marley. Para promocionarla y hablar sobre este tema, la artista estuvo en el show de Oprah Winfrey.
La canción original es maravillosa y es difícil afrontar un tema de un artista tan mítico como es Bob Marley, pero Rihanna lo ha enfocado muy bien, y sin distanciarse demasiado de la versión original, ha sabido darle un toque personal con un resultado bastante bueno. En cuanto a su directo, el resultado también es muy positivo. Ya he comentado en diferentes ocasiones, que me parece que Rihanna tiene una asignatura pendiente a la hora de llevar sus canciones al directo pero esta Redemption Song, la interpreta a la perfección dándole sentimiento y calidad vocal.
Aún nos encontraremos con varias iniciativas de este tipo los próximos días. Siempre es bueno que los artistas, sean un ejemplo en estos temas, y en este caso, están respondiendo muy bien.
